Books and Reference
There
is very little reference information on northern first nations. The few
books and reference material available provide an invaluable reference.
Without them much of
our history may have been eventually lost. These books themselves are
based on personal records and of course invaluable interviews with our
elders, much of whom are no longer with us.
Although books and personal records help provide a history of our
people, unfortunately there are many gaps in the record and some
potential miss-leading information. In addition, contribution to this
site is by armatures and should not be considered a definitive
resource.
